Rawlins Wy to Landers Wy.120 mile strech,in 5 days.not bad at all.lots of rain 14 hrs one day.staying at theHoliday lodge.goodnight

I will start out saying HAPPY 4TH OF JULY. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEITH.DADDY LOVES YOU .I decided to hicth 13 miles north and hike the CDT south.back to rawlins to watch the fetivites. Here are the pitures of today.My hiking buddy,problem Bear is watching old faithful going off. lol                                 iam at the beginning of the Great Divide Basin.i was told the continental  divide mountains stop and.turns to  flat dessert called the Basin for 120 miles.the rain doesnt  go east or west.then the mts pick up again.

On june 29,2015.i flew from Atlanta to Denver.my cousin Mike  and Kate drove me 3 hours back to the trail.thank you so much guys .Iam back singing with birds again.It doesnt get better than this.When i went home for my sons wedding.i lost my hiking buddy.so iam hiking all alone again..All by myself.Maybe i will find someone. The late snow we had in Colorado.,split everyone up .Thanks and GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
